On 11–12 September 2025, Reach Surgical was proud to once again support the advancement of thoracic surgery at the UVATS Masterclass. This two-day event, held at @Royal Papworth Hospital, brought together surgeons from across the region for an intensive programme of education, discussion, and hands-on learning.
Led by distinguished faculty @Mr. Giuseppe Aresu, @Mr. Aman Coonar and Mr. Adam Peryt, the sessions featured both theoretical lectures, live surgical demonstrations and cadaver lab training, offering participants valuable exposure to the latest uniportal VATS techniques. The collaborative atmosphere fostered knowledge exchange among experienced thoracic surgeons and rising specialists alike.
Reach Surgical’s comprehensive portfolio of surgical devices, including the OMNIA stapling platform, offering a wide range of reloads for surgical flexibility, and the OSA Series Vessel Sealer, designed to securely seal vessels up to 7mm with reliable performance, — played a key role in the procedures showcased during the masterclass. Through the masterclass, our portfolio of surgical devices continue to demonstrate its effectiveness in enhancing precision, control, and surgeon experience.
Events such as this underline our commitment to surgical education and to supporting the medical community with solutions that drive better outcomes for patients. We look forward to continuing our support of UVATS masterclasses and to contributing to the global advancement of minimally invasive thoracic surgery.
