BMAX™
Effective flow control for safer clot retrieval

Enhanced control in Thrombectomy
The BMAX™ Balloon Guide Catheter provides secure proximal support and effective flow control during thrombectomy. By reducing pressure on the clot during retrieval, it helps prevent distal embolization and supports higher first-pass success rates. Engineered for stability and ease of use, the catheter enhances physician control and contributes to safer treatment in stroke and aneurysm procedures.
Clinical Advantages

BMAX™ Balloon Guide Catheter Features
The balloon guide catheter is a coaxial-lumen, braid-reinforced, variable stiffness catheter that facilitates the delivery of therapeutic or interventional devices.
Neurovascular Protection
Inflation of BMAX® can markedly reduce the systemic blood pressure acting on the proximal clot face, leading to a decrease in the pressure gradient across the clot, supports a safer treatment environment, especially in patients with large vessel occlusions.
Procedural Efficiency
When blood flow is paused, it’s easier to extract the clot in one smooth motion. Treated with BGC can lead a shorter procedure time, lower number of thrombectomy attempts, lower rates of mortality and higher odds of first-pass recanalization.
