On February 17-18, 2025, Reach Surgical continued to support advancements in thoracic surgery through its sponsorship of the UVATS (Uniportal Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery) Masterclass, held at the Tor Vergata Polyclinic in Rome, a leading center for thoracic surgery and medical research. The event was led by esteemed surgeons Dr. Diego Gonzalez Rivas and Dr. Liviu-Mugurel Bosinceanu, who provided in-depth guidance on advanced techniques in thoracic surgery.
This session was made even more significant through the collaboration with the U.O. C Chirurgia Toracica (Complex Operational Unit of Thoracic Surgery), led by Professor Vincenzo Ambrogi, whose expertise and guidance enriched the learning experience. Special thanks to Dr. Bastone, whose dedication and organizational skills were instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of this impactful educational opportunity.
Designed to enhance the skills of both early-career and experienced thoracic surgeons, the masterclass provided in-depth theoretical instruction and live surgical demonstrations. Throughout the session, Dr. Rivas and Dr. Bosinceanu showcased the powerful capabilities of Reach Surgical’s products, including the iReach Magnum powered stapler. Its 55° articulation, exceptional compression power, and smooth firing mechanism supported the success of the procedures.
