Advancing surgical standards at the 81st General Meeting of the Japanese Society of Gastroenterological Surgery (JSGS)

A look back at the recent JSGS General Meeting, where surgeons and clinical experts gathered to discuss the latest advancements in gastrointestinal oncology and minimally invasive surgery. Scientific forums like JSGS play an important role in facilitating the exchange of clinical knowledge and surgical experience.

During JSGS 2026, Reach Surgical supported a series of scientific seminars and booth presentations featuring Japanese surgeons, who shared their clinical experience and perspectives on upper and lower gastrointestinal surgery, healthcare economics and advancements in minimally invasive techniques. These discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration in addressing evolving clinical challenges and advancing surgical practice.

We were honoured to participate in JSGS 2026, marking Reach Surgical’s first exhibition in Japan. Thank you to the organisers, faculty members and everyone who visited our booth. 第81回日本消化器外科学会（JSGS）総会を振り返って

第81回日本消化器外科学会（JSGS）総会では、消化器がん外科や低侵襲手術に関する最新の知見や臨床経験が共有されました。JSGSのような学術集会は、臨床知識や手術経験の共有を通じて、外科医療の発展に貢献する重要な機会となっています。

Reach Surgicalは、会期中にランチョンセミナーおよびブースセミナーを開催しました。日本の外科医の先生方より、上部・下部消化管外科、医療経済、低侵襲手術に関する臨床経験や知見をご講演いただき、各セッションでは日常診療における課題や今後の外科医療について、多くの知見が共有されました。

また、JSGS 2026はReach Surgicalにとって日本で初めての展示会出展となりました。ブースへお立ち寄りいただいた皆様、講演いただいた先生方、ならびに学会運営関係者の皆様に心より御礼申し上げます。
