On 9–10 October 2025, Reach Surgical joined surgeons from across Europe for an intensive Bariatric Bypass Masterclass in Belgium, a hands-on learning experience dedicated to advancing minimally invasive bariatric techniques.
Hosted at AZ Delta Rumbeke and Hospital Menen, the two-day course was led by Dr. Bart Smet, a leading figure in laparoscopic and robotic abdominal surgery. Through live case demonstrations focusing on both primary and redo bypass procedures, participants explored technical refinements that improve surgical precision and efficiency.
