We were proud to support the Advanced Uniportal VATS Course on March 6th and 7th in Lisbon, Portugal. It was an intensive two-day program, combining live surgery, hands-on cadaveric lab session and lectures.
The course was led by Dr. Diego Gonzalez Rivas and Dr. Javier Gallego Poveda, MD, PhD, FETCS, FACS, FESC who shared their expertise in uniportal minimally invasive thoracic surgery, including complex anatomical resections and advanced surgical techniques.
The program welcomed thoracic surgeons from Armenia, Italy, Spain, Germany and Portugal, creating a collaborative environment for knowledge exchange and practical learning. The cadaveric lab session, held at the new campus of NOVA Medical School – Faculdade de Ciências Médicas, provided an excellent setting for hands-on surgical training.
