On 20–21 November 2025, Reach Surgical partnered with Ideal Medical Solutions to support the Uniportal & Subxiphoid VATS Masterclass at Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, UK. This two-day programme brought together thoracic surgeons from the UK and abroad for an immersive experience in advanced minimally invasive thoracic surgery techniques.
Led by thoracic surgeons Mr Giuseppe Aresu, Mr Aman S Coonar, and Mr Adam Peryt from Royal Papworth Hospital, the course combined live surgical observation, lectures, and hands-on cadaveric training, enabling participants to refine their Uniportal Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (UVATS) and Subxiphoid techniques.
Throughout the sessions, surgeons gained practical insights into optimising access and precision within confined thoracic spaces.
