In complex colorectal surgeries, surgeons face the dual challenge of completely removing tumours while preserving body function and reducing complications such as anastomotic leakage. Studies show that leakage risk increases with multiple stapler firings, often due to limitations in articulation and access.
Through breakthrough engineering, Reach Surgical has overcome these constraints, introducing a 90° articulation stapler that maintains cutting efficiency and precision, even in confined pelvic anatomy. This innovation enables surgeons to reach deeper, achieve tumour removal with clear margins, and better preserve body function.
